🗞️New Epstein emails released

What happened today 🇺🇸,

• House Democrats released new emails from Jeffrey Epstein that show Epstein described Trump as “the dog that hasn’t barked” and claimed that Trump spent hours at his house with a victim and “knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop”…Trump has denied any wrongdoing, saying he had cut ties with Epstein years before he was arrested and the White House and Trump allies accuse Democrats of selectively leaking emails to create a politically motivated narrative…the emails have intensified scrutiny on Trump's past associations with Epstein and what he knew, although there is no direct evidence in the released communications of Trump being present during criminal activity

• The House of Representatives is scheduled to hold a final vote at 7 PM ET today on a bill to end the 43-day government shutdown, which is the longest in American history…if passed, the bill which has already been approved by the Senate, will fund the government through January 30th, 2026…the vote was still going on as this newsletter was sent out

• Rep. Adelita Grijalva was officially sworn in as the newest Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives after a 50-day wait…her induction provides the critical 218th signature needed on a discharge petition, clearing the procedural path for the House to vote on a bill demanding the release of all unclassified Epstein files

• Jack Schlossberg, President John F. Kennedy's grandson, has announced he is running for Congress in New York, launching a campaign to replace retiring Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.)

• The U.S. has officially ended production of the penny, marking the conclusion of a 232-year run that began in 1793…the last pennies were minted at the Philadelphia Mint…watch here

• Atlanta Federal Reserve President, Raphael Bostic, has announced he will retire when his current term ends on February 28th, 2026

• Kim Kardashian's brand Skims reached a $5 billion valuation after a $225 million funding round led by Goldman Sachs

• Anthropic announced it will invest $50 billion in building new AI data centers across the U.S., with initial facilities set for Texas and New York and construction will start in 2026

• Polymarket has become the exclusive prediction market partner for Yahoo Finance, meaning Yahoo Finance will now feature real-time prediction odds and market data powered by Polymarket across its financial news platform

• Coinbase has officially announced it is leaving Delaware and will reincorporate in Texas

• DOW up .68% / S&P up .06%

• The Dow Jones has hit a new record high

• President Trump sent an official letter to Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, formally urging him to "fully pardon" Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is on trial for bribery, fraud, and breach of trust…Trump called the charges “political lawfare”
