A judge has dismissed the Georgia election interference case against President Trump and his co-defendants after the state prosecutor requested the dismissal, citing that any alleged misconduct should be addressed at the federal level…this ruling ends the last active criminal case related to Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia, with Trump's legal team calling the dismissal the end of political persecution
Two members of the National Guard were shot near the White House in Washington, D.C., in an ambush-style attack…a suspect is in custody with non-life-threatening injuries and there have been "conflicting reports" about the conditions of the national guardsmen, with some reports already stating they have died
The U.S. National Park Service will increase entrance fees by $100 for international tourists to visit 11 of the most popular national parks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Yosemite starting in 2026…also foreign visitors will pay $250 for an annual digital pass, more than three times the $80 fee for U.S. residents, aiming to keep parks affordable for Americans while generating revenue for park maintenance and conservation
A federal appeals court has upheld a nearly $1 million penalty against President Trump and his former attorney Alina Habba for filing frivolous lawsuits against Hillary Clinton, former FBI Director James Comey, and others…the court found that Trump and Habba engaged in sanctionable conduct by bringing a lawsuit that was both factually and legally baseless, reinforcing a 2023 district court ruling that ordered them to pay the penalty
The U.S. government, under the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program established by the Inflation Reduction Act, has announced negotiated lower prices for 15 additional high-cost prescription drugs to take effect starting in 2027…these drugs include popular treatments for diabetes, obesity, cancer, and chronic respiratory diseases
Campbell Soup Company has fired Martin Bally, its vice president of information technology, after a leaked audio recording allegedly captured him saying the company's products contain “bioengineered meat” from a 3D printer and are primarily for “poor people”
HP announced it will cut between 4,000 and 6,000 jobs by 2028 as part of a restructuring plan to integrate AI technologies that will speed product development, improve customer service, and increase efficiency
U.S. initial jobless claims fell to 216,000 in the week ending November 22nd, down 6,000 from 222,000 the prior week and below economists’ expectations of 225,000
