• TikTok has announced they will add new parental monitoring features so that teens can be limited to the amount of time they spend on the app and parents can manage their child’s followers and who they follow

• Palestinian activist, Mahmoud Khalil, will remain in an ICE detention facility in Louisiana for now following a procedural hearing in New York, days after he was arrested by federal officials in an attempt by the Trump administration to deport him

• Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, (D-NY), said that Democrats would reject the government funding bill that Republicans passed through the House yesterday, leaving it uncertain whether Congress can avert a shutdown before Friday night's deadline

• Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the Secretary of Health and Human Services, has called on top executives from Kraft Heinz, General Mills, PepsiCo, Kellogg’s and other food companies to remove artificial dyes before the end of his term

• Democratic Senator from New Hampshire, Jeanne Shaheen, announced today that she will not seek reelection in 2026

• For the first 5 months of the 2025 fiscal year (from October to February) the U.S. Government's year-to-date deficit hit a record $1.15 trillion…in the month of February alone the government ran a $307 billion deficit

• About 25% of jobs added in the U.S. economy over the past two years were government jobs, up from 5% in 2021 and 7% in 2022, per Apollo

• February CPI inflation comes in at 2.8% year over year below expectations of 2.9% and .2% month over month below the expectations of .3%
