• Michael and Susan Dell announced a $6.25 billion donation, which is the largest ever for U.S. children, to fund "Trump Accounts" which are treasury-managed investment accounts for 25 million kids under the age of 10 from low-income areas

• San Francisco has filed a lawsuit against 10 major food manufacturers including Kraft Heinz, Mondelez, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, General Mills, Nestlé USA, Kellogg, and more accusing them of creating a public health crisis by designing and marketing addictive ultra-processed foods linked to obesity, diabetes, cancer, and heart disease

• The Trump administration has issued orders directing ICE to target undocumented Somali immigrants in Minnesota following the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somalis in the state, citing welfare fraud, gang activity, and billions in missing taxpayer funds

• President Trump has issued a full pardon to former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, who was convicted in 2024 for drug trafficking and weapons charges and sentenced to 45 years in prison…Trump stated the pardon was granted because many respected individuals believe Hernández was treated unfairly and “set up”

• Tennessee's 7th Congressional District is holding a special election to replace Republican Congressman Mark Green, who resigned in July after passing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act…Republican Matt Van Epps faces Democrat Aftyn Behn in a race that's unexpectedly competitive

• Sam Altman has reportedly declared a "code red" at OpenAI, redirecting resources to urgently improve ChatGPT's performance, speed, reliability, and personalization amid intensifying competition from Google's Gemini 3

• Costco has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration seeking a full refund of tariffs it paid under President Trump’s emergency tariff orders, arguing that the use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose these tariffs was unlawful

• Amazon released its latest AI training chip, Trainium 3, claiming it offers over 4x the performance and 40% better energy efficiency than Trainium 2 while delivering 30-50% lower costs compared to Nvidia's equivalents

• During the five-day Thanksgiving shopping period (Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday), U.S. consumers spent a record $44.2 billion online, marking a 7.7% increase year over year
