• Both the House and Senate have voted to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act, requiring the Justice Department to make publicly available all unclassified records related to Jeffrey Epstein within 30 days…the bill now heads to President Trump’s desk to be signed into law

• President Trump hosted Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, at the White House for talks focused on deepening economic and defense ties, including plans for major investment deals and advanced military sales like F-35 jets…read more here 

• A federal court has blocked Texas from using its newly redrawn Republican-favored congressional map for the 2026 midterm elections, ordering the state to instead use the 2021 district lines…Texas is expected to appeal the decision to the Supreme Court

• The Trump administration is working to dismantle the Department of Education by transferring major offices and programs to other federal agencies such as the Labor, Interior, State, and Health and Human Services Departments…read more here

• Texas Governor Abbott has designated the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as foreign terrorist and transnational criminal organizations, accusing them of ties to Islamic extremism and efforts to impose Sharia law…this designation prohibits these groups from purchasing land in Texas and subjects their affiliates to heightened penalties

• Former U.S. Treasury Secretary and former Harvard University president, Lawrence Summers, has announced he will step back from his public commitments after emails revealed he sought Jeffrey Epstein's advice on pursuing an extramarital relationship with a female mentee

• Google has launched Gemini 3, its most advanced AI foundation model featuring state-of-the-art reasoning, deep multimodal understanding, and new generative UI capabilities

• Nvidia and Microsoft have announced a major joint investment of up to $15 billion in the AI startup Anthropic

• Meta, the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, won a U.S. court ruling in its antitrust trial, with the judge ruling that Meta does not hold an illegal social network monopoly…the court rejected the Federal Trade Commission's claims that Meta abused its market dominance through acquisitions and anti-competitive practices, allowing Meta to keep Instagram and WhatsApp without being forced to divest

• DOW down 1.07% / S&P down .83%

• The United Nations Security Council has approved a U.S.-drafted resolution endorsing President Trump’s 20-point peace plan for Gaza, with 13 votes in favor and abstentions from Russia and China
