  • Mike Waltz is out as National Security Adviser, he has been nominated by President Trump to be the Ambassador to the United Nations… Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as interim National Security Adviser until that post is filled

  • Former VP Harris gave her first major speech since losing the Presidential election last night in San Francisco…she criticized President Trump’s tariffs and immigration policies as reckless and harmful

  • The House of Representatives voted 246-164 (with 35 Democrats voting with Republicans) to block California from implementing its plans to ban the sale of new gasoline-powered cars by 2035

  • President Trump imposed sanctions on Iranian oil and is targeting countries and companies involved in buying oil from Iran with “secondary sanctions” in an attempt to cut off funding for Iran’s nuclear program

  • The Wall Street Journal reported that the Tesla board had begun a search for a new CEO to “succeed Elon Musk”, Tesla later responded stating the report "is absolutely false”

  • Protests under the “50501” organization, short for 50 protests 50 states 1 movement, took place across the country today in response to the Trump administration’s actions during their first 100 days

  • Kohl’s has fired their CEO, Ashley Buchanan, for unethical behavior and violating the company’s conflict-of-interest polices…Buchanan only served in the role for about four months

  • Visa wants to give AI agents your credit card, have you set a budget and submit preferences and then have the AI agent find and buy you what you need, whether that be groceries, shoes, or a plane ticket…they call it “Intelligent Commerce”

  • The number of Americans that filed for jobless benefits increased last week…jobless claims for the week ending April 26th came in at 241k above the expectations of 225k and up 18k from the prior period

  • DOW up .21% / S&P up .63%

  • Secretary of State Rubio held separate talks with India's Foreign Minister and Pakistan's Prime Minister in an effort to defuse the tensions and called on them to "maintain peace and security in South Asia"…for more click here
