What happened today 🇺🇸,

• Congressman Al Green (D-TX) introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump accusing him of abusing presidential powers by ordering strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities without notifying or obtaining approval from Congress…however, the House of Representatives quickly blocked a vote on the measure, with a majority of Democrats joining Republicans to prevent it from advancing

• The 2025 NATO Summit began today in the Netherlands, with all 32 NATO leaders, key EU members, and partners like Ukraine and Indo-Pacific nations in attendance…the summit aims to demonstrate alliance unity amid rising tensions in the Middle East and ongoing war in Ukraine

• The ceasefire that was announced last night between Iran and Israel remains fragile, with both sides accusing each other of violations and continued reports of airstrikes after the ceasefire was announced…as of writing this the truce seems to be holding and there were no new reports of major attacks

• Multiple sources reported today that the U.S. strikes did not fully destroy the underground Iranian nuclear sites and only set it back a few months

• Former Justice Department lawyer, Erez Reuveni, has said that senior Trump administration officials directed Justice Department lawyers to disregard court orders blocking deportations, insisting that removal flights proceed regardless of legal challenges…read more here

• ICE arrested 11 Iranian nationals that were illegally in the U.S. over the last 48 hours as part of a nationwide operation targeting individuals with criminal backgrounds and suspected ties to terrorism… among those detained were a former Iranian Army sniper and a former member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps with admitted connections to Hezbollah

• Congressman Buddy Carter (R-GA) has nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in brokering the ceasefire between Israel and Iran

• Waymo robotaxis are now available to the public in Atlanta through their partnership with Uber, Atlanta is now the second major market that Waymo’s robotaxis are available in after Austin, Texas

• Ford has recalled nearly 133,000 Lincoln Aviator SUVs from model years 2020 to 2025 in the U.S. because some parts may detach while driving due to insufficient adhesive bonding
