🗞️Trump gives Russia a ceasefire deadline

• President Trump has given Russia a 50-day deadline to reach a ceasefire deal with Ukraine, warning that if no agreement is reached the U.S. will impose 100% tariffs on Russian exports and on countries that continue to trade with Russia…President Trump also announced a major new military aid package for Ukraine in which the U.S. will sell weapons, including Patriot missile systems, to NATO allies, who will pay and quickly distribute them to Ukraine

• xAI, Musk’s AI company, has been awarded a U.S. Department of Defense contract worth up to $200 million to provide its advanced “Grok for Government” AI platform for national security applications

• President Trump is set to announce $70 billion in new investments from a range of companies in artificial intelligence and energy, including the construction of new data centers, expansion of power generation, upgrades to grid infrastructure, and the launch of AI training programs and apprenticeships

• Andrew Cuomo has announced he will remain in the NYC mayoral race as an independent candidate after losing the Democratic primary to Zohran Mamdani

• 24 states and the District of Columbia have sued the Trump administration over the decision to withhold nearly $7 billion in congressionally approved education funding…read more here
