  • President Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common and usually harmless vein issue, after doctors looked into some mild swelling in his lower legs…the White House said all other test results were normal and Trump is in good health overall

  • The Senate has passed President Trump’s proposed federal spending cuts, approving $9 billion in cuts that mainly target foreign aid and public broadcasting…it will now move back to the House of Representatives for a final vote

  • The House of Representatives has passed two major crypto bills, the GENIUS Act which is for establishing federal rules and oversight for stablecoins and the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act which aims to create a clear regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies…The GENIUS Act heads to President Trumps desk to be signed as it has already passed the Senate and the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act heads to the Senate for a vote

  • Senate Republicans have blocked a Democratic effort to require the public release of all Jeffrey Epstein-related files…read more here 

  • President Trump is preparing to sign an executive order that would allow $9 trillion in U.S. retirement assets, which includes 401(k) plans and IRAs, to be invested in cryptocurrencies, private equity, and gold

  • The U.S. is set to impose 93.5% tariffs on battery materials imported from China, the new tariffs specifically targets graphite which is a critical component used in the production of electric vehicle (EV) batteries and other energy storage systems

  • OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Agent, an advanced AI assistant that can automate complex digital tasks like online shopping, spreadsheet management, and creating PowerPoint presentations

  • Uber has announced a $300 million investment in Lucid to purchase at least 20,000 Lucid Gravity electric SUVs for a new global robotaxi fleet, with the first vehicles set to launch in a major U.S. city in 2026

  • U.S. retail sales saw an increase of 0.6% in June after two months of declines and are up 3.9% from June 2024

  • DOW up .52% / S&P up .54%

  • The UK government has announced it will lower the voting age from 18 to 16 for all national elections, a landmark reform that is expected to take effect by the next general election in 2029
