• Fannie Mae will start accepting crypto‑backed mortgages through a new product launched by Better Home & Finance and Coinbase, which lets homebuyers pledge Bitcoin or USDC as collateral for their down payment on a Fannie-eligible loan instead of selling their digital assets for cash

• President Trump said on social media today that Iranian negotiators are “begging the U.S. to make a deal” while publicly stating they are only reviewing the U.S. proposal and he warned that Iran must “get serious soon” about a peace deal or face more military action…later in the day President Trump said he is pausing the “period of energy plant destruction” in Iran for an additional 10 days, extending the halt until April 6th, at 8 p.m. ET and that talks are ongoing and going well

• The Pentagon is exploring several large-scale “final blow” military options against Iran, including the use of ground forces and a massive bombing campaign targeting key infrastructure

• The Justice Department has launched investigations into three major medical schools, Stanford, Ohio State, and UC San Diego, demanding years of applicant data and internal records on how race, diversity, and donor ties are handled in admissions

• The Wall Street Journal reported that Republican lawmakers are urging the White House to declare a national emergency so that the federal government can pay Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents without waiting for a full Homeland Security funding deal from Congress
