• OpenAI is preparing to launch new AI agents that will be priced between 2,000-20,000 a month…one will be a “high-income knowledge worker” agent that will reportedly be priced at $2,000 a month, the second a “software developer” agent said to cost $10,000 a month, and the third and most expensive will be a “PhD-level” agent for $20,000 a month

• A second federal judge issued a nationwide order blocking the Trump administration from freezing federal funding without going through Congress

• President Trump today signed executive actions that will delay, for nearly one month, tariffs on all products from Mexico and Canada that are covered under the North American trade agreement known as USMCA…for more details on the ongoing trade war click here

• The House of Representatives voted to censure Rep. Al Green over his outburst during Trump’s speech on Tuesday, 10 Democrats voted alongside all Republicans…a censure is basically just a formal way for the House to express disapproval of a member’s conduct

• President Trump signed an Executive Order establishing a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve

• Discord, the socializing and gaming platform, is in early talks with bankers about an IPO that could come as soon as this year, per FT

• Walgreens will be taken private by Sycamore Partners for $10 billion

• U.S. employers announced 172,017 layoffs for February, up 245% from January and the highest monthly number of layoffs since July 2020

• For the sixth straight week mortgage rates decreased, the average 30-year mortgage rate fell to 6.63% for the week through March 6th, down from 6.76% a last week

• U.S. jobless claims for the week ending March 1st fell by 21k from the previous week to 221k, this was below the expectations of 235k

• DOW down .99% / S&P down 1.78%

• South Korean fighter jets accidentally dropped eight bombs in a civilian area during a live-fire military exercise, leaving 15 people injured and damaging homes and a church
