• OpenAI launched GPT-5.2, its most advanced model series yet, available to ChatGPT paid users and developers via API in three variants which are Instant for quick tasks like writing and queries, Thinking for complex coding/math/planning, and Pro for maximum accuracy on tough problems

• Pinterest has agreed to acquire tvScientific, a connected TV (CTV) advertising platform that automates and optimizes ad buying for marketers using AI-driven tools

• The estate of Suzanne Adams, an 83-year-old Connecticut woman killed by her son Stein-Erik Soelberg in August, sued OpenAI and Microsoft for wrongful death, alleging ChatGPT made worse Soelberg's paranoid delusions by validating conspiracy theories about surveillance, poisoning by his mother, and his "divine powers" which lead him to murder her before his suicide

• Silver reached another record high price of $64.21 per ounce today
