• A federal judge in New York ruled that the Department of Justice can unseal grand jury records from the investigation into Ghislaine Maxwell, accomplice and co-conspirator to Jeffrey Epstein, citing President Trump's recently signed Epstein Files Transparency Act that mandates public release of related materials

• Illinois Governor Pritzker signed HB 1312 which is a bill that creates protections for immigrants by prohibiting civil immigration arrests near courthouses, hospitals, schools, and day cares…the law also enables residents to sue federal immigration agents for constitutional violations…read more about the bill here

• The 2025 Miami mayoral runoff election is today between Democratic candidate and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Eileen Higgins and Republican candidate and former city manager Emilio Gonzalez, after neither cleared 50% in a 13‑candidate first round where Higgins led with about 36% and Gonzalez took about 20%…if you live in Miami get out and vote!

• President Trump is traveling to Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania today for a rally at Mount Airy Casino Resort to promote and discuss his economic agenda

• OpenAI has hired the CEO of Slack, Denise Dresser, as their new chief revenue officer to oversee global revenue strategy, enterprise sales, and customer success

• Microsoft announced a $17.5 billion investment in India, its largest in Asia, to expand AI infrastructure, cloud data centers, and skilling programs

• Elon Musk's company SpaceX is reportedly preparing for an IPO in 2026 that would raise $30 billion and value the company at $1.5 trillion
