• The U.S. Supreme Court rejected Ghislaine Maxwell's appeal, allowing her 20-year sex trafficking conviction to stand without explanation…Maxwell’s lawyers had argued that a 2007 non-prosecution agreement with Jeffrey Epstein should have protected her from prosecution, but the court declined to review her case

• President Trump deployed National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon, and Chicago, Illinois…the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago have filed a lawsuit accusing the Trump administration of unlawfully deploying federalized troops without state consent and a federal judge in Oregon has blocked the deployment of National Guard troops to Portland…read more here

• Republican Congressman, Wesley Hunt, has officially entered the 2026 U.S. Senate race in Texas and will be challenging incumbent Senator John Cornyn and State Attorney General Ken Paxton in the Republican primary

• AMD and OpenAI have announced a multi-year partnership under which OpenAI will deploy up to 6 gigawatts of AMD Instinct GPUs for its next-generation AI infrastructure…also as part of the agreement AMD has granted OpenAI an option to buy up to 160 million shares, potentially a 10% stake in AMD, if OpenAI reaches key deployment milestones and AMD stock price targets

• Fifth Third Bank has announced it will acquire Comerica in an all-stock deal valued at $10.9 billion, creating the ninth-largest bank in the U.S. with $288 billion in assets

• OpenAI has launched a new Apps SDK that allows developers to build interactive applications directly inside ChatGPT, integrating services like Spotify, Canva, Zillow, and Coursera right into chat conversations…this system lets apps deliver personalized, adaptive experiences with interactive user interfaces, enabling users to accomplish tasks within ChatGPT

• Verizon has named Dan Schulman, the former CEO of PayPal, as its new CEO

• Bitcoin reached a new all-time high surpassing $126,000
