What happened today 🇺🇸,

  • Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee have publicly released a controversial birthday note allegedly written by President Trump to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003, included in a so-called "birthday book" of letters and drawings gifted to Epstein…the note features a sexually suggestive outline of a naked woman with Trump's signature below, President Trump has repeatedly denied writing the letter or the drawing, calling it fake and has sued The Wall Street Journal, which first reported on the note…the committee obtained the book as part of its broader investigation into Epstein’s estate and the Justice Department’s handling of the case

  • The trial of Ryan Wesley Routh, the man charged with attempting to assassinate President Trump last year, began today with jury selection in federal court in Fort Pierce, Florida…Routh has pleaded not guilty and will represent himself in the trial, he faces five charges including attempted assassination of a presidential candidate, firearm offenses, and assaulting a federal agent, with potential life imprisonment if convicted

  • The Supreme Court has ruled that immigration raids in the Los Angeles area can continue for now, lifting a federal judge's order that had prohibited detainment and questioning without "reasonable suspicion”…read more here

  • SpaceX has agreed to acquire wireless spectrum licenses from EchoStar for approximately $17 billion, this acquisition of EchoStar's AWS-4 and H-block spectrum licenses will support the expansion and enhancement of the Starlink satellite network

  • Over the weekend Axios reported that high-ranking Biden administration officials repeatedly questioned and criticized how President Biden’s team decided on pardons and allowed the frequent use of an autopen to finalize measures late in his term

  • Pittsburgh-based PNC Financial Services Group announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire Colorado’s FirstBank Holding Company for $4.1 billion in a cash-and-stock deal

  • The current average rate for a 30-year fixed mortgage is approximately 6.28%, down from around 6.5% a few days ago

  • The price of gold hit a new all-time high of $3,635/oz

  • DOW up .25% / S&P up .21%
