• President Trump announced a new initiative called “Trump Accounts”, that will be part of the “Big Beautiful Bill" and will be federally backed savings accounts for U.S. children born between January 1st, 2025, and December 31st, 2028, the Treasury Department will automatically deposit $1,000 into an investment account for each eligible newborn and the accounts are managed by parents/legal guardians and overseen by a financial institution…families can also contribute up to $5,000 per year into the account

• Over the weekend, L.A. saw days of large protests in response to ongoing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids, federal agents clashed with demonstrators at multiple sites across the city…President Trump deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to L.A., and today the state of California sued the Trump administration over the deployment of the National Guard…read more here 

• U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has removed all 17 members of the CDC panel advising the U.S. on vaccines and will reconstruct the committee

• U.S. Secretary Bessent, Secretary Lutnick, and Trade Rep. Greer met in London with Chinese officials to discuss trade in a meeting that lasted 6 hours…the second meeting will take place tomorrow at 10am in London

• Bill Gates reportedly visited the White House this past Friday to meet with Secretary of State Rubio to voice his concerns about funding cuts made to USAID, per Tara Palmeri

• Warner Bros. Discovery announced it will split into two separate companies, one focused on streaming and studios (including HBO Max, Warner Bros. Pictures, and DC Studios) and the other on global networks (including CNN, TNT Sports, and Discovery)

• Chipotle is launching its first new dip in five years, Adobo Ranch, on June 17th in the U.S. and Canada…it will be a smoky, spicy twist on ranch made with adobo pepper and herbs

• Amazon has announced they will invest at least $20 billion in Pennsylvania to expand its data center infrastructure, with a focus on supporting artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing technologies…for more click here

• 94% of Americans have inflation listed as their top economic worry 

• DOW was flat on the day / S&P up .09%

• Israeli forces intercepted and boarded a Gaza-bound aid ship in international waters, Greta Thunberg and other activists were on the ship and detained and Israeli forces prevented the vessel from delivering its aid Gaza…Israel said the boat contained less than a truckload of aid and the activists will be deported

• Russia has launched its largest drone attack on Ukraine since the start of the war, unleashing about 500 drones and 20 missiles targeting a military airfield and marking a significant escalation following Ukrainian strikes on Russian bases earlier this month
