• Macy’s today said it has concluded an investigation into an employee who intentionally hid about $151 million of delivery expenses over three years, the employee was trying to cover up an initial mistake

• Elon Musk has become the first person to have a net worth of 400 billion dollars

• The U.S. House of Representatives passes an $895 billion defense policy bill

• U.S. November CPI inflation data came in and saw inflation rose .3% month over month which was expected and 2.7% year over year which was expected however still above the target rate of 2%

• DOW down .22% / S&P up .82%

• A Judge blocks the sale of Alex Jones’s Infowars to The Onion saying the auction process was unfair

• Syria’s leading rebel group has named, Mohammad al-Bashir, as prime minister to head the country’s transitional government
