• The FBI has said it is investigating fraud schemes in Minnesota, that are potentially costing taxpayers up to $9 billion across programs like Medicaid and today the Department of Homeland Security's HSI and ICE conducted inspections at over 30 sites in Minneapolis, including childcare centers and smoke shops, to address these fraud allegations amid heightened scrutiny

• President Trump said that the U.S. hit a land-based facility in Venezuela “very hard” describing it as a dock area where drug boats are loaded, in what would be the first acknowledged strike on Venezuelan soil in his pressure campaign against Nicolás Maduro

• Reports stated that Ukraine is seeking a 50-year U.S. security guarantee amid peace talks, but President Trump offered only 15 years following his meeting with Zelenskyy and Trump held a call with Putin, where Russia accused Ukraine of attacking Putin's residence, a claim Ukraine has denied…read more here

• President Trump hosted Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago for discussions on advancing the U.S.-brokered Gaza ceasefire into its second phase and they addressed Iran's efforts to rebuild its nuclear facilities, with Trump warning of military action if reconstruction continues

• New York City is ending the MetroCard as it fully transitions to the OMNY tap‑and‑go payment system for subways and buses…the last day to buy or refill a MetroCard is December 31st, 2025, though existing cards will still work into 2026 before being fully retired

• SoftBank has agreed to acquire DigitalBridge Group, which is a digital‑infrastructure/ data center investment firm, in a deal valued at about $4 billion

• Pending U.S. home sales rose 3.3% in November from October and were up about 2.6% from a year ago

• Home ownership rates for 27-year-olds stand at about 33%, significantly lower than the 40% achieved by baby boomers at the same age in the late 1970s

• DOW down .51% / S&P down .35%

• China launched large-scale military drills around Taiwan deploying air, naval, and rocket forces in live-fire exercises across multiple zones to warn against "separatist" activities and "external interference" following a major U.S. arms sale to Taiwan
