• Musk has announced his Grok 3 AI chatbot will be released tonight at 11pm EST/ 8pm PST

• Apple is set to debut its first new product of 2025 on Wednesday, it is likely that the product will be the iPhone SE 4

• A Delta plane crashed while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport, thankfully there were no deaths but 15 people were taken to the hospital with injuries

• The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is likely to hand over unlimited access to taxpayer data to an adviser from Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, per Bloomberg

• Also as early as sometime this week the IRS will lay off as many as 15,000 employees 

• The Stock Market was closed today for Presidents Day

• The average U.S. home is now selling for 1.8% less than its asking price, the largest discount in 2 years

• U.S. and Russian officials will meet in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to discuss ending the war in Ukraine, Ukrainian officials will not be in attendance as the U.S. will begin by speaking with both Russia and Ukraine individually to begin the initial talks, President Trump has said that Ukraine will be apart of the negotiations to end the war

• European leaders from the EU and U.K. held an emergency meeting in Paris today to discuss their stance on the Ukraine war as fears build that they will be isolated from ceasefire discussions

• British PM, Sir Keir Starmer, has said that he is willing to send troops to Ukraine once the war ends to act as “peace keeping” troops to ensure stability after the ceasefire

• Pope Francis has a “polymicrobial respiratory” tract infection, he will remain hospitalized for more targeted drug treatment
