  • Mark Zuckerberg’s, Meta, faces a historic antitrust trial that began today which could force the company to break off Instagram and WhatsApp

  • Pennsylvania State Police have arrested, Cody Balmer, and charged him with attempted murder, arson, and terrorism as he had broken into Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro’s home early Sunday and started a fire while Shapiro and his family were sleeping…there were no injuries but significant damages were done to the home

  • President Trump hosted Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele at the White House, they discussed immigration, trade, and Trump floated the idea of sending violent American criminals to prison in El Salvador…for more on the meeting click here 

  • A 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit near San Diego and impacted many parts of Southern California

  • Harvard University has rejected a proposed deal with the Trump Administration putting $9 billion in federal funding at risk…the Trump Administration wanted Harvard to make sure that hiring, promotion, and admissions decisions are merit-based and not based on race, religion, sex or national origin and also reject international applicants who are "hostile to American values"

  • Jeff Bezos’s space exploration/technology company, Blue Origin, launched a flight with an all-female crew to the edge of space in a successful mission that took place today…the crew included Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, Gayle King, Katy Perry, Kerianne Flynn, and Lauren Sánchez…for more on the spaceflight click here

  • Nvidia announced they will manufacture AI supercomputers in the U.S. for the first time ever, within the next 4 years Nvidia plans to produce up to $500 billion of AI infrastructure in the U.S.

  • Iran said the first round of nuclear negotiations with the U.S., which were held over the weekend, were “constructive” and that the second meeting will take place this Saturday in Rome

  • Palantir, the software and services company that specializes in analytics, has announced it is creating a fellowship/internship program as an alternative to college because the company thinks "college is broken”

  • 60% of general admission ticket buyers at Coachella used Buy-Now-Pay-Later to finance their tickets, per Billboard

  • DOW up .78% / S&P up .79%

  • China has officially halted shipments of several rare earth minerals to the U.S. in response to the tariff hikes from last week
