Harvey Weinstein was found guilty of a first-degree criminal sexual act in his New York retrial for assaulting Miriam Haley, while being acquitted on another charge and with one charge still undecided that jurors will return to the courthouse tomorrow to continue discussing…Weinstein faces up to 25 years in prison in addition to his existing 16-year sentence from a previous California conviction
President Trump said that the trade deal with China is done, subject to final approval with President Xi and himself…U.S. tariffs on China will be 55% and Chinese tariffs on the U.S. will be 10% and part of the deal as well is that China had agreed to supply U.S. companies with magnets and rare earth metals, while the U.S. would walk back its threats to revoke visas of Chinese students
Elon Musk posted on social media that he regrets some of his posts about President Trump last week and that he went “too far”…it was also reported that this post came after a private phone call Musk had with White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and VP Vance last Friday
The U.S. is evacuating non-essential diplomats and their families from its embassy in Baghdad, as well as from diplomatic facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait, due to heightened security threats amid escalating tensions with Iran and stalled nuclear talks
