What happened today 🇺🇸,
A federal judge has temporarily halted the Trump administration’s attempt to ban Harvard University from being able to enroll international students, this occurred just hours after Harvard filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration over the ban
President Trump said on social media today that trade talks with the European Union are going nowhere and threatened to implement 50% tariffs on them starting June 1st
President Trump signed four executive orders aimed at accelerating U.S. nuclear energy development by easing regulations, expediting nuclear reactor construction and licensing, allowing reactors on federal land, overhauling the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and expanding uranium mining and enrichment
The private equity company, RedBird Capital Partners, has struck a deal to acquire The Telegraph Newspaper for $674 million
President Trump has approved a deal allowing Nippon Steel to move forward with its acquisition of U.S. Steel, framing the outcome as a "partnership" after months of negotiations and increased investment commitments from the Japanese company…read more about it here
