• Google has announced its real-time speech translation for English and Spanish in Google Meet…now if you are on a Google Meet call it can translate what you say into your conversation partner’s preferred language in real time

• The Food and Drug Administration has outlined new regulatory guidance for future Covid-19 vaccine boosters, setting stricter approval standards for healthy Americans…immediate access to updated shots will go primarily to high-risk groups such as seniors (65+), young children with health issues, and people with underlying conditions…for more click here 

• President Trump has announced the "Golden Dome" missile defense project, it will be a large-scale space and ground-based shield aimed at protecting the U.S. from advanced missile threats…the project will cost $175 billion over the next three years to build

• The Senate has unanimously passed the No Tax on Tips Act, a bill to eliminate federal taxes on tips…the bill will now move to the House of Representatives to be voted on

• U.S. immigration authorities have allegedly started deporting migrants to South Sudan despite a court order banning the deportations of people to countries they are not from

• New Orleans jail employee, Sterling Williams, was arrested and charged with helping the 10 inmates escape last week from Orleans Parish Justice Center by shutting off the water supply, which allowed them to remove a metal toilet and access a breach in the wall

• The Senate has officially confirmed Charles Kushner to be Ambassador to France

• Google has released its NotebookLM app for Android and iOS, allowing users to create, organize, and interact with AI-powered note-taking and research assistants on their mobile devices…the app supports uploading sources, asking questions with AI-generated answers, and listening to audio summaries

• Selena Gomez has collaborated with Oreo to create a limited-edition horchata-inspired cookie featuring chocolate and cinnamon cream, sweetened condensed milk, and cinnamon sugar between chocolate-cinnamon wafers…the cookies will be available for U.S. online presale starting June 2nd and in stores nationwide June 9th

• DOW down .27% / S&P down .39%

• The U.K., France, and Canada have jointly threatened to impose "concrete actions”, including targeted sanctions, against Israel if they do not halt their military operations in Gaza and lift restrictions on humanitarian aid
