  • Federal judge, William Young, has ruled that President Trump’s cuts to National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants are illegal, ordering the immediate reinstatement of hundreds of terminated grants

  • Costco is planning to open its first standalone gas station in Mission Viejo, California, featuring 40 pumps exclusively for Costco members, with construction starting this fall and an expected opening in spring 2026

  • Co-founder and former CEO of 23andMe, Anne Wojcicki, has agreed to buy back the bankrupt genetic testing company and its data for $305 million through her nonprofit called the TTAM Research Institute
