Associated Press sues three top Trump officials over access restrictions

"The press and all people in the United States have the right to choose their own words and not be retaliated against by the government," the AP said in its lawsuit.

  • The Associated Press is suing three Trump administration officials in federal court for banning AP reporters from some of President Trump’s events, the Oval Office, and Air Force One saying it’s a violation of first amendment rights…the lawsuit asks a federal judge to restore the AP’s access to spaces made available to other White House press members

  • A new virus called HKU5-CoV-2 has reportedly been found in China by researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, this virus apparently has pandemic potential

  • The Cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, said today that the Securities and Exchange Commission has dropped their lawsuit against them claiming they were an unregistered securities broker and they will face no financial penalty

  • Both Citi Group and PepsiCo have announced they will be scaling back/ eliminating some of their DEI policies and positions

  • Ford has recalled over 240,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to safety issues involving the seatbelts, the vehicles recalled are their 2020-2021 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator

  • Sales of previously-owned homes fell 4.9% in January from the prior month, according to the National Association of Realtors
