  • The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has officially canceled the October Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation report due to the government shutdown

  • The House of Representatives passed a resolution (which is essentially a formal statement of opinion or intent) denouncing socialism in all its forms with a vote of 285-98, including bipartisan support from 86 Democrats joining Republicans…the resolution condemns socialism as an ideology responsible for millions of deaths worldwide and opposes the adoption of socialist policies in the U.S.
