House Speaker Mike Johnson shut down the U.S. House session early today to avoid a floor vote on legislation demanding the release of Jeffrey Epstein-related files, however the House Oversight Committee has voted to subpoena Ghislaine Maxwell to testify about the Epstein case
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced he plans to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell “in the coming days” to discuss the Jeffrey Epstein case and specifically to ask if she has information about any other individuals who committed crimes against victims
President Trump announced a trade deal with Japan which includes a $550 billion investment from Japan into the U.S. and a 15% “reciprocal tariff” on Japanese goods imported to the U.S.
