Six people have died in a helicopter crash in the Hudson River in New York City, an AP source says

A helicopter broke apart in midair and crashed upside-down into the Hudson River between Manhattan and the New Jersey waterfront, killing all six people aboard.

  • Two travel accidents happened today…a plane carrying multiple members of Congress was clipped by another aircraft on the ground at Reagan National airport in D.C. and tragically a helicopter crashed into the Hudson River in NYC and six people have reportedly died

  • Russian-American woman, Ksenia Karelina, who was serving a 12-year prison sentence for treason in Russia, was released and is headed back to the U.S. as part of a prisoner swap

  • Meta whistleblower, Sarah Wynn-Williams, told Senators in testimony on Capitol Hill that the social media company that includes Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp worked with the Chinese government to censor its platforms

  • A federal judge ruled that Newsmax Media published defamatory and false statements accusing Dominion Voting Systems of rigging the 2020 election, a jury must now decide whether the conservative news outlet will pay anything and if so how much they should pay for in damages

  • OpenAI is countersuing Elon Musk for trying to harm the company

  • March CPI inflation comes in at 2.4% year over year below expectations of 2.5% and -.01% month over month below the expectations of .01%- Core CPI inflation comes in at 2.8% year over year below expectations of 3.0%…this marks the second consecutive month of declining CPI inflation

  • DOW down 2.50% / S&P down 3.46%
