• The CDC’s vaccine advisory panel has recommended Merck’s monoclonal antibody shot, Enflonsia, to protect infants under eight months of age and certain high-risk children from respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)

• The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that states can exclude Planned Parenthood from their Medicaid programs and that patients cannot sue states over such exclusions…read more about the decision here

• Elon Musk announced that hashtags will be banned from ads on X (formerly twitter) starting tomorrow

• Palantir Technologies has announced a partnership with The Nuclear Company to develop an artificial intelligence-driven software system specifically designed for the construction of nuclear reactors

• Meta has successfully hired three senior AI researchers from OpenAI who previously established OpenAI's Zurich office, in a high-profile talent acquisition for Meta's new "superintelligence" team…this move comes after reports that Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has been offering massive $100 million payment packages to lure talent away from OpenAI

• Elon Musk has reportedly fired Omead Afshar, Tesla's vice president in charge of sales and manufacturing for North America and Europe, marking the exit of one of his top executives and closest confidants at the company

• Mortgage rates have fallen for the fourth straight week, the average rate on a 30-year fixed mortgage dropped to 6.77% this week, down from 6.81% last week

• 45% of all adults said they would need to make $100,000 or more a year to feel financially secure, according to Bankrate's 2025 Financial Freedom Survey
