Americans Know The Economy Isn't Good
Good Morning 🇺🇸,
What’s Happening,
-Poll finds 39% percent of Americans worry they can’t pay their bills
-Israeli PM, Netanyahu, speaks to Congress
-The Trump shooter researched how far Lee Harvey Oswald was from Kennedy in 1963
A CNN poll found that 39% of Americans worry about paying their bills. The article also goes on to state how that number is higher than it was during the great recession. The Biden Administration loves to talk about how great the economy is, but Americans know it is not really all that great. Other researchers have found that between 50-65% of Americans say they live paycheck to paycheck. That is absolute insanity. Many will come out and say things such as “Oh it’s because nobody saves anymore, or people want to buy the new trendy thing, or kids spend too much on having a good time”. Though some of that may be true, more truth lies in our government printing Americans into poverty. If you just think about it we have had extremely high inflation over the past three plus years and peoples’ wages have not rose anywhere near the rate at which the price of goods and services have increased. A simple example would be if inflation is 3% for the year and you only get a 2% raise, you are still worse off. Our government has created this high inflation mess, which is just another tax, that hurts the lower and middle class the most. It begs the question, what does America’s standing on the world stage matter if our own people are doing so poorly? Our government can’t help but spend money we don’t have and run massive deficits, however if they really wanted to help Americans and make things more affordable they would stop the spending!
On Wednesday Israeli PM, Netanyahu, spoke to Congress in a divisive speech about his war against Hamas. As mentioned before 2024 is shaping up to be the craziest political year since 1968. In 1968 Democrats were torn on the Vietnam war. Many supported the sitting Democratic president, LBJ and the war, while another coalition of anti-war Democrats was forming to run against Johnson such as Bobby Kennedy and Eugene McCarthy. The Democrats find themselves again split, this time on the Israel/ Palestine conflict. Many Democrats such as AOC are strongly pro-Palestine, while others such as John Fetterman as strongly Pro-Israel, and all those in between. The difference now is that you will not likely see candidates step up and run for president largely on this issue like we saw in 1968, though that would be fun to see.
It has been reported that the Trump shooter, Thomas Crooks, searched “how far away was Oswald from Kennedy” in reference to Lee Harvey Oswald shooting JFK in 1963. A very disturbing and eerie thing to hear.
on july 6, trump shooter googled: “how far away was oswald from kennedy”
