• Amazon is reportedly planing to use advanced robotics to replace or avoid hiring more than 600,000 U.S. workers by 2033 as part of a long-term automation strategy to cut costs across its warehouses and delivery operations…the company’s robotics division aims to automate up to 75% of its operations by 2027, potentially eliminating 160,000 U.S. jobs within two years

• The White House said that the second summit between President Trump and Russian President Putin has been put on hold, with no plans for the meeting to happen "in the immediate future"…read more here

• Vice President Vance arrived in Israel for a three-day visit to support the Gaza ceasefire brokered by the U.S., he expressed optimism that the ceasefire is holding despite recent violence and ongoing tensions… Vance also emphasized the importance of maintaining the ceasefire, facilitating humanitarian aid, and urged Israeli leadership to pursue a long-term peace plan to ensure stability in the region

• The White House began demolishing part of its East Wing to make way for President Trump's privately funded $250 million, 90,000-square-foot ballroom

• President Trump is seeking $230 million from the Department of Justice (DOJ) as compensation for what he claims are unjust past criminal investigations and prosecutions against him

• Warner Bros. Discovery officially confirmed it is exploring a sale of all or parts of the company after receiving unsolicited acquisition interest from multiple buyers

• OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Atlas, which is an AI-powered web browser that integrates ChatGPT directly into the browsing experience, allowing users to chat with webpages and summarize content

• Coca-Cola has started rolling out a new version of its classic soda in select U.S. markets that uses cane sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup

• DOW up .47% / S&P flat on the day
